With over 100 years of experience in the industry, Ramiro Guardiola is a family-run haute furrier business based in Madrid.
Its story dates back to 1927, making it one of the first two furriers in the city of Madrid.
Ramiro Guardiola was introduced to the world of fur by his grandfather, founder of the brand, and his father, who worked in fur buying, tanning, and tailoring.
Ramiro completed his training at the London Fur Auction House (the largest in Europe) and in Canada, where he spent several years exploring fur farms, auctions, the world of trappers, and wild furs.
All our garments are made exclusively and uphold traditional craftsmanship thanks to our own Artisan Workshop, staffed by a skilled, passionate and highly specialized team.
90% of our garments are made in Spain, under the Made in Spain seal.
Furmark® Certified
Our brand ensures animal welfare through the Furmark® certification, which provides detailed information on the type of fur, its origin, animal welfare conditions, manufacturing location and producer.
The Furmark® label includes only natural furs—wild or farm-raised—that come from major animal welfare programs.
Only businesses that pass stringent independent audits can produce Furmark® certified garments. Each step in the supply chain is traceable, ensuring full transparency.
Compliance with animal welfare standards is strictly enforced through regular visits and assessments. Those who fail to meet the criteria are excluded from the Furmark® program.

Ramiro Guardiola is a member of the International Fur Federation (IFF) and SFA – Spanish Fur Association, which guarantee animal welfare throughout all processes—from the moment the animal is raised on the farm to the final transformation into fur.
